    • Abstract:
      The article focuses on the international guarantee clause. The international guarantee clause is providing a republican form of government for every country and it is now within the international law. Having this form of government can augment the recognition and promotion of democratic governance and the upholding of human rights among the countries in the world. Inasmuch, several organizations are adhering and promoting guarantee clause including the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), Council of Europe, and the Organization of American States (OAS). Meanwhile, the OAS has contributed to the standardization of the democratic entitlement during the Commitment to Democracy and the Renewal of the Inter-American System in June 1991, in Santiago, Chile.
