- Abstract:
The article presents tips on how to establish and maintain indoor air quality (IAQ) in hospitals. Administrative controls must be established to identify and manage risk, and hospitals must offer contaminant control facilities to protect immunocompromised patients and isolate those who have air-borne infections. They are required to monitor and document air quality and system performance to guide system operation and maintenance.
