      The article reports on the effort of the Department of Justice to force the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to impose Net neutrality regulations on broadband providers in the U.S. It stated that Net neutrality is all about the communications companies treating everybody's bits equally rather than favoring the bits of companies that will pay more or favoring their own bits rather than a competition. The author cited that Net neutrality is an important issue because in the Internet communications market there is no real competition for the majority of Americans.
