    • Abstract:
The article presents the author's remarks on a previously issued paper by Mikael Gilljam about common political space in formal theories of issue voting. He points out that Gilljam's analysis of the topic is motivated by a desire to let each voter perceive parties in any way. He also comments on the use of individual perception in non-formal models of candidate and party evaluation in the said paper.
