      The article presents a tribute for Jan Weber, a librarian and a former president of Washington Library Media Association (WLMA). Weber led the creation of the WLMA Sasquatch Award for outstanding children's books. She was also a co-founder of the Literacy Connection, which supports visits to Tri-Cities schools by authors of children's literature.
