      The article provides information on the Economy of Guinea-Bissau. The country is considered among the world's least developed nations and depends mainly on agriculture and fishing. Other important product is cashew, and rice serves as a major crop and staple food. The military conflict that took place in 1998 to 1999 has caused the decline of the country's economy. The government effort on cashew-pricing policy had created negative results to its economy.
