      The article discusses intake of folic acid supplement of women of reproductive age in California from 2002 to 2006. Women can meet the recommended amount of folic acid daily if they consume one serving of breakfast cereal fortified with folic acid. Data from the California Women's Health Survey (CWHS) found that in 2006, 41 percent of women in California take folic acid supplement. However, it reported that intake of Hispanic American women went down.
