    • Abstract:
The article reports that continents are expected to collide in around 250 million years. The last supercontinent Pangea existed between 100 million and 300 millions years ago. The continents are half-way to another collision according to journalists Caroline Williams and Ted Nield. A theory put forward by Christopher Scotese of the University of Texas at Arlington predicts that the continents' paths will be upset by tectonic plates colliding. The weather on the future supercontinent is expected to vary from 100 degrees Fahrenheit to minus 4 degrees.
