      The author reflects on citing few of the secrets industry insiders know in the U.S. He posed the question to a private list he subscribed to and one of the members, Joe Mahoney, replied. He stated that he was told at a software company to take the moral high ground in the "software has bugs" issue by publishing the complete bug list for a famous product. The author asserted that the software industry has desensitized them so their complaints are more along the lines of whining.
