This article presents the case study of a 22-month-old boy who suffered erythematous eruption consisting of coalescent papules and macules that spread throughout the left axilla, the left lateral side of the chest, and the left arm. Diagnosis reveals that the patient has asymmetric periflexural exanthema of childhood (APEC) which serves as a clinical basis on the skin ailment. APEC, however, is considered as a benign and self-limiting disease.
