- Abstract:
The article discusses the "many worlds" interpretation of quantum mechanics was proposed 50 years ago by Hugh Everett, a graduate student at Princeton University, who wanted to apply quantum mechanical equations to everything. Building on the theory, David Papineau considers feelings of guilt and hope in the multiverse, but argues that their people's alternate realities shouldn't affect our choices before we make them.
