    • Abstract:
The article recognizes the development of multi-core computer chips which enhance the capabilities of microprocessors. Central processing units (CPU) are equipped with the so-called dual core of processor chips that contain CPU on a single slab of silicon. Intel plans to launch an eight-core microchip product in 2009. Sun Microsystems is in the process of testing a 16-core microchip. Moore's Law formulated by Gordon E. Moore serves as the basis of transistor chip development. The author suggests a strategy for troubleshooting the memory speed of microprocessors by transferring data in big blocks rather than in single bits of bytes.
