The author discusses the highlights of the Drupa 2000 trade show held in Dusseldorf, Germany. Upon reaching the show, she recalls that there was an opening ceremony on par with the Olympics and she was amazed about the show's architecture which featured big vendors that have their own buildings and mass equipment displays. Visitors of the event also saw full-size Web presses, sheet fed and digital presses in all formats. The show also unveiled all manner of DI presses, digital presses and CTP devices.
