- Abstract:
This article describes the approximate contours of postmodern anarchism by analyzing Ursula K. Le Guin's science fiction, where her frequent critiques of state power, coupled with her rejection of capitalism and her obvious fascination with alternative systems of political economy, are sufficient to place her within the anarchist tradition. It discusses critical awareness of Le Guin's anarchism. Her 1969 novel "The Left Hand of Darkness" is a postmodern masterpiece.
