      The article presents information related to a program started by the United Nations which gives Polyurethane foam manufacturers credits to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Under the program, polyurethane foam manufacturers in developing nations can receive financial reward for switching to blowing agents that do not contribute to climate change. It is reported that the money is made available through the Kyoto Protocol, the international climate change agreement.
