The article offers information on educational reforms in Singapore that aim to create a new perspective for educational policy and practice. Its information, service and digital economy is driven by educational investment and development. The community-based vernacular education was replaced by a highly centralized system founded on the equal treatment of all schools and the four main languages. The reforms involved the introduction of child-centered early childhood education and the expansion of community self-help and family support organizations.
