The H-1B Debate.

The author examines his proposal for the U.S. Congress to cut the current H-1B visa limit in half for the 2008 fiscal year and eliminate the program entirely by 2014. He says that the idea behind his proposal was that the U.S. education system needs to be reformed in order to compete with countries like India and China. In his opinion, the temporary visa program just covers up the nation's science and math woes. He cites the responses he got regarding his proposal.
