- Abstract:
The article reports on global energy consumption and prices for the year 2006. Energy growth slowed overall but rose in China. The most used energy sources were coal in Asia, natural gas in Europe and oil everywhere else. Oil and gas reserves were not significantly changed from the previous year and remained higher than they had been in the 20th century.
