- Abstract:
The article assesses the response of the Canadian government to the ongoing crisis in Darfur, Sudan against the leadership expectations created by Canada's role in provoking G8 action on Africa and in advocating the international Responsibility to Protect. It says that the Darfur case emphasizes the work to be done in terms of building a coalition of understanding and support for the aspirations constituting the Responsibility to Protect.
