- Abstract:
The article presents a study focused on suicide verdicts and its impact on the medieval community in the thirteenth- and fourteenth-century England. It talks about the dangers of disregarding regional variation within a nation in relation to the medieval jurors' treatment of felony and suicide in the country. The study takes into consideration the cultural diversity in regions and examines the collection of coroners' rolls at The National Archives in Kew, Surrey, which offers information on self-killings in medieval England.
