      The article reports on the missing information technology (IT) equipment at three medical centers operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (UDVA) and the VA's headquarters. It was found in an audit made at the three medical centers that a total of $6.4 million worth of IT equipment was recorded missing or misplaced during the federal government's past two fiscal years. In details, 2,400 IT equipment could not be accounted for during the inventory counts conducted by officials at the four facilities in fiscal 2005 and 2006.
