    • Abstract:
The article cites on various improvements in Louisiana which it prove state officials did not practice corruption. The Recovery School District (RSD) has opened more than 24 public schools in Orleans Parish after Hurricane Katrina. The RSD was operated by the Louisiana Department of Education since 2005 to take over 102 failing public schools from the Orleans Parish School Board. In addition, the local officials hired an inspector general to root out government corruption and waste in the state.
