    • Abstract:
The article focuses on theater performance cited by literary scholars during the 2006 North American Victorian Studies Association (NAVSA) conference. Michael Tomko noted the role of the audience in determining the success of a performance on his work. A strategy for dramatic analysis which involves stipulating a contemporaneous spectacle and demonstrating its parallelism with stage performance was illustrated by Marjean D. Purinton. Thomas C. Crochunis cited the effect of foibles of real life.
