Evolution in Slow Motion: Opting Into a Digital World.

The article focuses on the Library Project of Google Inc. and several cases filed against the search engine on alleged violation of the U.S. copyright law. It provides a background on the search engine Google.com and discusses the main objectives of the Library Project. An overview on the provision and objective of the copyright law is also presented as well as the claims of the plaintiffs in each of the lawsuit filed against Google. Moreover, it presents a proposal that would set a resolution on the relevant disputes regarding digitization of publications.
