      The article reports on growing popularity of Middle Eastern dance. It is reported that several hundred women of a dozen nationalities recently attended a dance festivals in Cairo which offered special insights into belly dancing which is now referred to as Egyptian dance. It is reported that Cairo's dance festivals are carving out a tourism-market niche and demonstrating the dance's international appeal.
