      The article provides information on how white blood cell (WBC) differential count helps evaluate a patient's condition. Leukocytosis can indicate infection, inflammation, tissue damage or burns, dehydration, thyroid storm, leukemia, and steroid use in the current medical condition of patients. The article presents two case studies of patients which reflect the application of WBC in diagnosing certain health condition.
