      The article reports on the adoption of the ophthalmosurgery training simulator by residents at the New York and Ear Infirmary. Residents have begun to practice with the simulator, which uses computer technology to give the surgeon the feel of real intraocular surgery. Eye surgery simulation requires surgeons to be able to see through tissue, peel it and reveal underlying organs.
