      The article presents a doctor's advice on how to avoid common pitfalls in childhood dermatology. The physician advised that fusidic acid, one of the most commonly used antibacterial topicals, should not be over-prescribed. She also recommended using a skin swab to determine which bacteria are present on the infected skin. Lastly, the doctor suggested using potent steroids before circumcision referral for phimosis.
