    • Abstract:
The article offers medical treatment when there occurs a watery vaginal discharge experienced by a pregnant woman 22 weeks after gestation. Generally, health care providers are advised to confirm the accurate gestational age and use a high-level disinfected speculum to assess vaginal discharge and exclude urinary incontinence. However, antibiotics are recommended if there are signs of infection such as fever, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, or of amnionitis.
