      The article discusses the results of the survey conducted by the International Association of Wildland Fire about the criminal charges filed against a firefighter in Washington state. Thirty six percent of the respondents claim that they prefer not to be assigned to wildland fires, as a result of manslaughter charges filed against a firefighter. Six percent say that they will no longer accept any fire assignment, and 23 percent stated that they will not serve as an incident commander.
