    • Abstract:
In an epoch of world historical transition, the entire world is torn apart by its own contradictions. Transition is not a mere passage from a point of time and space into another but interpenetration and mutual transformation of opposite polarities. Dialectics as the specific logic of specific contradictions is necessary to grasp the nature of our transitional epoch of capitalist decline and of its political tasks. In conditions of capitalist globalisation in crisis, historical materialist dialectics is more than ever indispensable to the workers movement for its theoretical and political orientation.
