The article discusses the proposal of European environmentalists to restrict the use of pesticides by 50 percent to prevent neuro-developmental disorders in children and the decline of biodiversity. The environmentalists made the proposal at a meeting organized by the Health and Environment Alliance and the Pesticides Action Network in Brussels, Belgium. They argue that the European Union's pesticide restriction policies are not adequate to protect the brain development of fetus.
