The article focuses on the devotion of Robert Perreault, a historian and tour guide in keeping the cultural heritage of Manchester, New Hampshire alive. An effort he considered as a success was the restoration of Weston Observatory tower in Derryfield Park in which he wrote a pamphlet that expressed the whole history of the tower. He treasured his personal archives of city historical records and memorabilia including 1,300 decades-old picture post cards.
