In this article the author examines food and recipes contained in works of fiction. Food presented in the writings of a number of authors is examined, including, among others, Trollope, Henry James, Ian Fleming and Nora Ephron. The author describes recreating dishes mentioned in books by Günter Grass and Robert B. Parker.
