      The article discusses the fragilisation of cultural diversity in the context of globalization. In a convention on protection and promotion of cultural diversity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), all member nations, except the U.S. and Israel, expressed their concern on fragilisation of cultural diversity. It concludes that this process is an irreversible one and disappearance of cultures is not certain.
