    • Abstract:
The article discusses a study which investigated different kinds of information about majority opinion. It examines whether the norm-related opinions of the members of a relatively small face-to-face group be modified without discussion-mediated changes in the consensus, but merely by the transmission of new information about it. The study aims to create a situation where some of the communication effects would occur frequently and where their occurrence in relation to acceptance of the communication could be examined systematically.
