      The article discusses the use of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating insufficient lactation. The authors claim that insufficient lactation happens when there is insufficient amount of milk during the period of breastfeeding and there is inability in assuring normal growth of the infant. They note that acupuncture is a safe and effective technique in improving the flow of milk for mothers. They conclude that early treatment produces better result.
