    • Abstract:
Presents the author's conversation with Russian poet Ilya Kutik, one of the founders of the Russian poetic movement called "Meta-realism." The different relationship of the poet to poetry in Russia and America is an overarching theme of the discussion, exemplified by Kutik's thoughts on the poet Virgil. Kutik also discusses the meaning of "Meta-realism," which believes that all realities that each human possesses can be connected to one reality by and in metaphor.
