- Abstract:
The article reports how franchise restaurant owners are effected when corporations have food poisoning outbreaks. Both Taco Bell and Taco John's have been faced with outbreaks of E. coli caused by contaminated food delivered throughout their chains. However, while large corporations may see a temporary fall in sales, independent businesses can see huge swings in profitability after such incidents.
