The article reports that the early switch to daylight-saving time (DST) may be the possible cause of information technology (IT) crisis which needs to resolve by the firms in the U.S. IT managers decide to have all their systems be checked, as well as their applications that rely on time to check if they can manage the accelerated start of DST. They also stressed that there is a need for the systems to be updated via software patches or modified so they can proceed working properly after the time change takes effect on March 11, 2007.
