    • Abstract:
The article cites a study that reveals favorable findings on a test of the implications of a threat theory concerning hostility, which emphasizes the reduction of hostility through status restoration. The experiment done focused on techniques appropriate for the restoration of the status or the integrity of the 96 freshmen and sophomore subjects who have been accounted to the hostile conditions without allowing expression of aggression. Generally, the findings showed the significance of power restoration despite no action was taken by the subjects to change the experimenter.
