      The article focuses on the 19th century awareness on the power of culture in relation to some arbitrary beliefs in the said period, compared to the modern perspective on social science, cultural traditions explained social evils, prejudice, and resistance to social change. The author explained that, the continuous beliefs on superstitions as part of tradition served as a major problem in the theory of culture due to the systematic drift of pressures. Based on a study conducted, the specific culture trait and the ecology of a particular group has something to do with instruction of the following generation.
