The article announces several events of the organization Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) in the U.S. The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) joins the NCTE Black Caucus by sponsoring the 18th National African American Read-In Chain to be held on February 4-5, 2007. The Two-Year College English Association (TYCA) accepts nominations for the 2007 TYCA Fame and Shame Awards. The NCTE members are invited to submit nominations for the outstanding English language arts educator and leader of the Conference of English Leadership Award for Exemplary Leadership.
