    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the failure of the intelligence services in the U.S. to prevent the terrorist attacks that took place in the country on September 11, 2001. The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation failed to prevent the attacks. They overlooked an attempt by Algerian terrorists to crash a hijacked plane into the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France in 1994. They did not try to search for Islamic extremists in aviation schools.
