The article presents the market survey in the supply and demand of old corrugated cardboard (OCC) in the U.S. industry. OCC production in the West Coast still marks stability as its demand heated up significantly. On the other hand, a $10 per ton increase in the OCC prices is recorded in the West driven by the demand in China. In Southwest, board mills are determined to reveal a stable production of its regular tons, but offers for extra supply were pushed away.
