This article presents an interview with author Norman Mailer. Mailer is asked about his greatest fear. Mailer says that the trait he most deplores in others is banality, which he considers to be related to the trait he most deplores in himself, inanition. When asked what he considers the most overrated virtue, Mailer answers that he thinks it is prayer.
