      The article focuses on the study that evaluates the amygdala volume in individual with autism spectrum disorders and its assimilation to laboratory measures of social behavior. The study comprises 54 males participants aged 8 to 25 years old with autism, asperger syndrome and sex-matched community volunteers. The study determines that individual with autism who had small amygdalae were slowest to describe emotional from neutral expressions.
