In this article the author examines the writings of three of Great Britain's best known writers, Martin Amis, Ian McEwan and Salman Rushdie, and states that they seem to believe that civilization is under threat from Islam. he examines the influence on these men of the writer Saul Bellow. He calls this trio of men "blitcons," which means "British literary neoconservatives."
