    • Abstract:
The article examines in detail the Oxford, Bodleian Library, Additional B.1 manuscript that was written in the second half of the sixteenth-century in England. The historical and theoretical implications of the manuscript for the history of magic and magical traditions are examined. The manuscript's exposition on magic and Catholicism is also explored. It also compares the contents and subjects of the manuscript with Reginald Scot's "Discoverie of Witchcraft."
