      The article reports on the amount raised by the employees of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office (JPSO) for the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's research grants in Louisiana. JPSO has raised more than $3,000 for the research for battling breast cancer during the pizza lunch held at JPSO Headquarters on the West Bank. According to Nancy Pearson, commander of Community Relations, JPSO staff were inspired to become involved in the work of the Komen Foundation.
